Try Different Signs for Your House for Sale

One of the tricks to selling a house is to find ways to attract positive attention to it. You need to use signage that is recognizable, yet unique for best results.

The way you advertise your house when you want to sell will usually take the traditional road and you’ll stick a red and white sign in your front yard that looks like all other signs in houses for sale by their owners. Why not do something a bit different that is more likely to grab the attention of those passing by?

Since the traditional sign for houses is red and white, why not buy a custom sign for a few dollars more that will stand out in a completely different color? Try neon green, orange, or day glow yellow. Perhaps it would be more interesting and much more visible if printed on a luminescent color that glows in the dark. You can use Christmas trim designed to be outside. Try glittery plastic pine boughs, garland, or jingle bells and ornaments.

The idea is not to do something completely different or it might not be instantly recognized by those looking for houses that are for sale. The idea is to use a traditional type sign that is universally recognized, but with a bit of a twist that causes viewers to take a closer look. Balloons are always a good way to attract attention, so stick a few on your sign, especially on weekends or when you plan to hold an open house. The recognizable sign enhanced by something a little different may get you the attention of an interested buyer.
